I got tired of having nothing terribly exciting or impressive to show of my uni project so I edited together a few line animations:
Still nothing terribly exciting or impressive but at least I can see this scene kinda works! Hurrah!

I love it! the boy's reaction (hair poof) reminds me of miyazaki's style, which is always a compliment. really subtle, nice feelings there!
